USIN is Taxora’s local sale identifier. One customer payment keeps one USIN. If the authority is slow or rejects a field, you retry the same draft - you do not open a second invoice for the same money.

When can I print a receipt?

Print the official receipt only after the fiscal authority for that branch stamps the sale and returns a fiscal invoice number. While the sale is waiting, PDF and QR stay locked so a draft never looks stamped.

Is Taxora suitable for retail businesses?

Yes. Retailers use Taxora for POS checkout, products with optional stock tracking, barcode labels, multi-branch tills, offline sale queue, and authority-stamped receipts. Services without stock (haircuts, consulting) and physical products can live in one catalogue.

Does Taxora support POS?

Yes. The tablet till searches or scans items, builds a cart, takes payment, and sends the same sale to the branch’s fiscal authority. If the internet drops, the sale can queue on the device and auto-submit when you reconnect. Shift cash control is separate from fiscal stamping.

Does Taxora support inventory?

Yes for products. Mark an item as a Product, turn on Track stock, and set opening quantity. The till shows stock badges, blocks oversell, and can email you when stock is low. Services stay uncounted. Stock is shop-level today - not separate warehouses per branch.

How does fiscal validation work?

You write or charge a sale in Taxora. Submit queues the official payload through the fiscal adapter for that branch’s authority (PRA, SRB, KPRA, or BRA) with the device credentials. Only after a successful stamp does Taxora unlock print and QR.

How much does Taxora cost?

Standard is Rs 5,000 per month, Growth Rs 9,000, Business Rs 15,000, plus a one-time integration fee. Pay yearly to save 15%. First month free on Standard and Growth after enroll.

Which provinces does Taxora support?

Branches can be Punjab (PRA), Sindh (SRB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPRA), or Balochistan (BRA). Punjab PRA is the primary live stamp path today; other authorities share the same shop graph, credentials, and readiness gates as you expand.

Is this the same as Taxora FBR?

No. FBR digital invoicing is taxora.pk. This product at pra.taxora.pk covers provincial fiscal authorities (PRA and adapters). Logins, cookies, and invoices do not mix.

What hardware do I need?

A tablet or PC for the till, a thermal receipt printer, and optionally a USB barcode scanner (wedge mode). Taxora does not require a Windows localhost bridge for cloud posting.

Can I run multiple branches?

Yes. Add branches with name, city, province, and address; link tills to a branch; and pick the till on each sale. Plans raise how many branches, devices, and cashiers you can run. Branch-wise stock warehouses are not separate yet - catalogue qty is shop-level.

Does the till work offline?

Yes for checkout continuity. If the network drops mid-shift, Taxora can save the sale on the tablet with an idempotency key and auto-submit when internet returns. Permanent 4xx failures go to a dead-letter list instead of silent drop. Catalogue still needs to have been loaded while online.

How do branches and provinces work?

Each branch has a province. Taxora derives the fiscal authority (Punjab PRA, Sindh SRB, KP KPRA, Balochistan BRA), stamps that branch on the invoice, and prints the branch address on the PDF. Device credentials follow the authority for that branch.

What is the Official PDF template?

Official is an FBR-style sales tax A4: dual supplier/buyer columns, PCT/HS column, QR after fiscalize, and Taxora green accents. Shops can allow draft PDFs or lock official download until the sale is stamped.

Can cashiers and leads have different access?

Yes. Cashier, supervisor, and lead map to permission codes (sell, shift, catalogue, buyers, invoices, reports, sessions). The team screen shows capabilities; managers and accountants come in a later phase.

How a sale becomes printable

Write or charge the sale once. Taxora saves a draft with a local USIN, stamps the branch province → authority, then posts through the fiscal adapter. While waiting, staff see the queue but cannot download the official sales-tax PDF. When the authority returns success and a fiscal InvoiceNumber, Taxora unlocks A4 and till-slip PDFs. Retries keep the same USIN so one payment stays one fiscal document.

Catalogue lines use Punjab PCT codes from the official schedule, not FBR HS codes. Services are labour lines without stock. Products can track quantity, show badges on the till, block oversell, and email the owner when stock is low. Stock movements stay inside Taxora; they are never fields on the PRA invoice JSON.

Branches, devices, and credentials

Each branch carries a province that maps to PRA, SRB, KPRA, or BRA. Link the till to that branch, then paste the matching credentials (PRA/BRA bearer, SRB user/pass, or KPRA NTN/key). Punjab PRA remains the primary live path; other authorities share the same readiness gates as adapters go live.
